Tummy Time

To date has been my least favorite thing to do.

Yesterday, for the first time...I made some progress. This tummy stuff though...not sure I'm a big fan. After all...I don't see Momma or Daddy crawling around on their tummies.

Tell me this...

What are these so-called "legs" for then...if not to get myself around?

Here's a pic of me this morning...looking mighty proud...I'm a big boy now.

The Comedian In Me

Want a good laugh?

So my Dad is giving me a bath...and he likes to do this thing to Mom...he puts the squirty thing in my tub...and sprays my Momma when she's walking by...to make her think little old me is having an "accident." Ha, so the other night...during bath time...he does it again...and then low and behold (I swear I didn't do it on purpose)...right in his face I went.

Dad, what's up? You've gotta be prepared for that sort of thing.

Mom and I both got a few good giggles out of it. I think I have myself a pretty good sense of humor...How could I not... with parents as funny as mine?

Scrub a Dub Dub

Most definitely one of my favorite activities...bath-time.

Not only for the obvious reason...that of which is the removal of built up baby drool and dribbles...but for the simple fact that it is time I get to spend splashing around with my Dad. We talk about lots of things during bath-time...Dad tells me about his day usually...I listen. Of course my attempts to communicate back and give him my advice most often times don't work out quite like I plan. Everything just seems to come out wrong. In the end though, Dad doesn't mind. He's not so concerned with what I say...just so long as I say something...it'll usually put a smile on his face. I like that. I love that Big Guy.

Some day I will be big enough to use those jacuzzi tubs. Until then, I'll spend some time learning a few things from Papa DuPaul...and teaching him a few things about me.

Introduction

Hi Everyone~

Let's get this thing rolling...I'd say it's about time. I would have done it myself 3 months ago, however...of course I cannot type yet (give me a couple months).

With that said, my Momma is taking all of this stuff down for me. If she can understand my baby babble, we should be in good shape. Forgive both of us if she misquotes me....it's not easy translating this jargon.

Let me introduce myself (though I am pretty certain you all have met me, and possibly know more about me than I do myself at this point).

Name is Isaac Michael DuPaul.
I was born a cool November day...the 18th to be exact...2:07 PM...year, 2005. I'm a Scorpio for those of you into that sort of thing. I think it's pretty cool that I'm a Scorpio. My aunt Shevy is one too...and she seems like a pretty cool chick. I plan to be cool like that.

My birth was long-awaited. I was 8 days late...and both Mom and Dad were getting anxious. I would have stayed and hung out longer, but you know...don't want to upset the parents this early. I've got plenty of years ahead of myself...plenty of time to cause some mischief. Let's cut them some slack. Seriously though, if they had only known how much sleep they were going to be missing once I arrived...they may have wished a few more days (or should I say nights...) waiting for my arrival.

Long story short...I sounded the alarm at 1:30 AM ...told them both I was on my way. We arrived at the hospital at 2:30 AM. Hahaha...my poor Momma! She thought it was going to be quick and painless...When we arrived, doc tells her...sorry lady...you're only 2 cm dilated. Ahhh!! She was having a tough time. So I figured I'd do my best to hurry things along. 12 hours and one epidural later...out I came.

Here we are...3 months later. I begin my tale. If you are interested...stay tuned for more of my life...in my own words. My rendition of things.
